Product Range: Living Edge is an Australian owned company that supplies high design furniture to the Australian marketplace. While our particular emphasis has always been on the architectural and design community we also showcase a range of world-class products to satisfy the majority of people's needs for the home or office. In 2009 we launched our sustainability strategy 'LivingOn', which is the result of more than a years worth of research and development. This key project aims to ensure that the way Living Edge conducts business is as responsible to the planet and our communities as possible. As part of this strategy we are working with manufacturers to ensure that materials used, energy consumption, ease of disassembly and recyclable content are best in practice. Already we have over 80 of our key products 3rd party certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia with more to come.

Comments: Living Edge currently has over 80 products GECA certified. All of these products have a minimum 5 year warranty while Herman Miller commercial products such as the Mirra, Aeron and Embody task chairs carry a 12 year, 3 shift warranty. All these products have been 'designed for disassembly' for ease of recycling and are classed as environmentally innovative on a green star calculator scoring maximum credits in their relevent material section. As part of Living Edge's commitment to product stewardship we are committed to taking back product at the end of its life for recycling, refurbishment or onselling/donation. As part of our LivingOn strategy we have implemented an EMS certified to ISO14001 international standards and work with Swinburne University National Centre for Sustainability who independantly verify the methodology and accuracy of our carbon data collection.
